There is a 2 inch cover on the left hand side of the block.
Unscrew this with the largest screwdriver you can find.
Using the same screwdriver as a lever try and wobble the crankshaft that is then visible.
If it moves at all (like fractions of a mm, even) then the bearings are kaputt - get them fixed.

Mine happened when she was still under garantee luckily
